When Where Time
PLEASE NOTE – THERE ARE SOME CHANGES TO REGISTRATION RULES! Due to high registration volume there will be NO EXCEPTIONS! Spots will not be held, returning and all player registration fees must be paid in FULL NO half payments will be accepted. Special Notice: All returning and new players must accompany registration with their parents to have their picture taken – we cannot use previous picture. Registration Requirements – All Participants must: q Live in the Bloomfield School District q Be between the ages of 7 – 14 as of December 2009 q Complete a copy of the 2009 CTYFL Registration Form q Provide a CTYFL Physician’s Consent to Play Sports Form – form must be signed and stamped by child’s Physician (NOTE THIS IS THE ONLY FORM THE LEAGUE WILL ACCEPT) q Doctors Consent form must be dated after January 1, 2009 q Provide a copy of birth certificate – new players only q Provide a CURRENT photo (2”x2”) or be present during registration to have photo taken q Registration Fee of $100.00 must be paid at registration (CASH ONLY) (NO CHECKS) q Parents or Guardian MUST be present to register q Registration fees after the dates listed above will be accessed a $20.00 late fee q August 3, 2009 – First Day of practice – 5:30 football – 5:45 cheerleading Other Important Notes: q A current physical is required prior to August 1. The CTYFL form is enclosed and is available on the www.bloomfieldraidersyouthfootball website. This is the only form that will be accepted and must be dated after January 1, 2009 q All participants MUST turn in a copy of their last report card from the current school year (2008-2009). It must show final grades and mailing address. This form must be turned in at time of registration. q Please make a copy of your report card for your records, as we cannot return it to you any time during the season. Other Important Dates: q March 21, 2009 – Football Precision Sports Clinic q March 27, 2009 –March 28th – Football Clinic q May 3, 2009 - FoodShare Walk for Hunger – All teams are asked to participate q May 25, 2009 – Bloomfield Memorial Day Parade – All teams are asked to participate q July 31, 2009 - CTYFL Purposed All Team Outing – High Meadows/Granby – (?) q August 1, 2009 – CTYFL Football Clinic q August 14,2009 – Parents Meeting/Rec Gym q August 15, 2009 – Car Wash/Auto Zone q August 22 – 23, 2009 – Raiders Cheer Clinic (tbd) in New Haven q September 26, 2009 – Fun Day at Big E.
